Have airline tixs for Fort Myers for first week of march. May need to take my own tent for housing.
IMO, one of best sources for answers to a lot of the questions being asked here is Jeff Masters weather blog, he's already got several pages of exceptionally well informed commentary on Wilma up at:

is just me , should the famous: "Stuck on Stupid" used?
Check out the motion of Wilma's eye. It is wobbling like a spinning top.

Now the latest GFDL model, updated UTC 17:25 10/19, has Wilma hitting Yucatan then doing an about-face and heading toward Cuba, possibly missing FL altogether. GFDL at GMT 11:26 had her going across Lake Okeechobee. What is this??
I wish one of you smart guys would tell me if I need to evacuate my family from St Pete.
We have to quit meeting like this.
I am pretty far away but I can take several campers or RV's on my land. I am in Washington, GA. Freepmail me if you are interested.
Just FYI and FWIW, my wife reminded me that the Center where she works has six (6) hookups for RV's. It's about one hour's drive north of Jacksonville, Florida. It is, however, right on the coast, on a river. $10 a night, she "thinks"-- they don't use them much.
FWIW, I just noticed there are three of those highway message boards staged in the median on I-95 just south of US 192 in Melbourne, our major westbound evac route. Perhaps they are there for some event and it's just a coincidence but more likely Florida Emergency Management is on the ball. Lord knows they've had enough practice! Let's see, Governor Blank-o or Jeb, which would I choose (as if it required any thought).
Remember the bar cam from New Orleans? That didn't last long. Harry's Bar was it?
