Hmmm. I knew a 5 year term as the lottery lady was trouble.

Democrats and Liberal reporters must love to wallow around in crap. They spend most of their time digging around in manure and throwing it around hoping some of it will stick.

Old news. Ben Barnes, GTECH, etc. More nominee baggage that the dark side warned about, oh 10 days ago.

In substance, a non-issue. But it lets the DEMs dig up the TX ANG crap all over agin. Maybe Dan Rather can reprise his fake but accurate memos.

I'm underwhelmed by Miers' qualifications. But nothing I have seen suggests to me that she is the least bit dishonorable or dishonest.

Fabrications from (supposedly) our side. Give it your best shot boys. Better that your ilk has tried and failed!!!

All besides the point. Her lack of qualifications by itself should sink thinks nomination.

problems with the Texas lottery

Who's going to play Harriet (kidding)?

****

Bowling for Dollars in Pittsburgh was around 1970-1980 and was hosted by Nick Perry, also a weather forecaster for WTAE channel 4 in Pittsburgh and he did the drawings for the Pennsylvania Lottery. The show was a classic! The show met its untimely demise when Nick Perry decided to rig the Pa. lottery in April of 1980 with the ominous numbers 666. Nick Perry and Bowling for Dollars quickly disappeared off the face of the Earth. Later Hollywood would make a lousy movie starring John Travolta based on the incident.
