That's true, but let's just step back a minute... This doesn't seem to have much to do with homeschooling. A babysitter notices that the room of one kid, the adopted kid in the family, is a wreck, and stinks of piss. She tells the kids biological mother, who understandably calls the Gov't. The Gov't comes by to check it out, and the Dad won't let them.
Is it totally unreasonable for the government to assume that there is abuse going on?
It is totally unreasonable for the government to have access to the children without consulting the parents and their associated professional consultants first unless there is clear probable cause of immediate physical harm to the child.
Urine in a room from a kid with a history of fetal abuse isn't it.
Maybe you cannot grasp the reality that this is an UNCONSTITUTIONAL search of this persons property by an organmization that is ABOVE the law that does NOT have a search warrant, nor is it required to get one to perform their job. CPS doesn't need no stinkin search warrants to enter your home, just the allegation of a 16 year old.
Should the police be able to enter your home without a search warrant? Then why is it acceptable for CPS?
In this disorder the room is not usually a wreck. Instead, the door is removed from the hinges, and all furniture and items are removed from the room except for a mattress on the floor. Many of these children wet the bed and will not wear protection.
Is it totally unreasonable for the government to interview the child's therapist and other medical professionals treating this child before coming to a conclusion of abuse ?
