This summer my wife and I had the births of our twin daughters. I was talking to the nurses at the hospital and they were commenting on how it was finally quiet after all the "Homecoming babies". 9 months after homecoming and prom the get a spurt of 17 to 19 year olds giving birth.
That is a very very sad statement.
My daughter passed up several invitations to drinking parties after prom. She and about 9 friends (several from our Parish) went to her father's house and watched movies. Her stepmother chaperoned. The worst thing they did was throw popcorn at each other. Sometimes I forget how incredibly blessed I am with her.
