Well said. Any party who wants to be significant has got to support the military. These terrorists will slaughter the pacifists right along with the militarists. Unless you want to be a 15th century Islamist, you are going to have to defend yourself or support those who will.
No one likes war, least of all those who actually fight it. We are in a war for our very survival and until that is accepted, any party hoping to compete on a national scale will fail.
