Today's Field Trip: Holloman AFB, New Mexico
If you have a suggestion for a Field Trip - maybe a place where YOU have been stationed and would like to re-visit - PLEASE Freepmail it to starcmc!! Thanks!
Please remember: the Canteen is a place to honor and entertain our troops. As such we attempt to keep it MOSTLY apolitical. Thanks for playing and have a nice day! LOL!!! |

I remember the 'gas chamber' well...that may have been one of the worst experiences of my life...but it lasted for about 30 minutes, then we went on to other fun stuff, like shooting guns and tossing grenades.
Hang in there...the difference when he comes home will be like night and day, and it'll be a good difference.

Hi! I had a great day...after I finally pulled myself away from Tony's Place this morning so I wouldn't be late to work!
I'm off tomorrow--so I can relax while listening!
How are you doing?

You are absolutely welcome to post the bee.
Funny about the bee, I had misquoted Ali, saying 'dance like a butterfly, sting like a bee' instead of "float like a butterfly...", so I had to dance around the subject by twisting it up all together. LOL!

Twist and shout! How about 'Float like a butterfly, DANCE like a bee!'
Someone asked me recently for a favorite quote, so I said 'Speak softly and carry a big stick,' from Teddy Roosevelt. Later I realized, it's "WALK softly ..." (isn't it?)
Can't win. LOL!

If it can work it's way across NM, you might get some rain in a day or two...!
