Oh, good. I'm so glad! I will.

You'd think that to read the vitriol against her but the fact is, you are witnessing the pique of people that are upset by the President of the United States not choosing their favorite candidate.
I think that Bush's belief through personal contact over a long period of time that she will remain true to the principals that caused him to consider her in the first place as all the qualification I need.
Of course it's much more fun to call her "the whore of Babylon". It's much more colorful.

Good point!
One does say a lot of stuff, especially on FR; that doesn't necessarily mean it's true.
"He was fired . . ."
But the White House denied it.

If she had them, we would know about them. Credentials are things that people have.
Name her conservative credentials.
BTW, even if for some reason she had conservative credentials but we just couldn't find them, she is not going to discuss them at the confirmation hearing.

Name her conservative credentials.Like you, I don't know, yet, unlike you, I'm not one to immediately throw her under the bus. This is where we disagree. And you're in disagreement with those on the Judiciary Committee, including Sens. Sessions and Coburn, who can't wait to hear her testimony at the hearings.

"Because nobody cares if a woman or a man occupies a seat on the Supreme Court" If men are being passed over because of their gender, I'd say nobody (in the Administration) wants another man to occupy a seat on the Supreme Court.

the filibusters concocted by Kennedy, Schumer, Clinton, et. al. are the core problem. I blame McCain myself as the biggest Republican facilitator.

That's the one. I'm amazed Rove and Bush didn't think of him. He would have been very hard for the Democrats to stop. And conservatives would worked their rear ends off to get him on the bench.

People in OC would have been psyched if he had gotten the nod!
:)
He participated in a debate with Prof. Cass Sunstein on NPR-in the prelude to the Roberts hearings-which was pretty fascinating to listen to.

Ok, you have to figure that any list that puts Al Sharpton at 47 with him leading the following in any poll has to be just plain nuts.
Howard Mildred T.
Braun Carol Moseley
Clark Wesley
Dean Howard
Edwards John
Gephardt Dick
Lieberman Joe
Diket Jeffrey H.
Vick Charles Gordon
Carrol Jerry Leon
Sutherland Randy Wayne
Maffi Rick R.
Cazneau Patrick
Johnson Derrick C.
Ogin Frederick Eugene
Hamburg Albert
Fellure Lowell Jackson
Bush George W.
So we're supposed to take this poll as gospel when it shows Al leading the pack over the following:
Clark Wesley
Dean Howard
Edwards John
Gephardt Dick
Lieberman Joe
And W coming in dead last at 65. BWAHAHAHA! If people liked John Edwards at #50 over W at 65, the Hair would have ended up VP. And I am to further believe Al beats Hair by 3 rankings?
I think our pithed off pothter is on some really bad drugs! He also doesn't understand Free Republic isn't defined at dictionary.com as Free Speech.
Yeeaaaarrrgh! People even like Al more than they like me!
