"I despise traitors while our men (and women) are being killed overseas. I just despise them."
Do you remotely understand what exactly our troops are being killed overseas for? Little things like freedom of expression, government by the people, state policy open to debate and criticism. Comments like these only make a mockery of their mission. One ought to be ashamed for impugning the motives of well intentioned people as "traitors" because you have a domestic policy disagreement with them, that has no relation to the war or the national effort in it whatsoever.
As in Vietname, they are being killed more effectively because our enemies have allies within the country.
