And they say Cristians are "easily led." Pikers compared to the blacks in the US.

Think about it. If you are inclined to believe that Bush blew up the levees, and if you believe that Bush (and not Blanco) withheld help from Louisiana, you weren't going to vote Republican anyway.
People who vote Republican, white, black, or indifferent, do so against all odds, they do so in spite of the Washington Post and the dominant media. This has always been true and it is still true.
I would say that it is Blanco who will lose her job next term, although she will probably lose it to another Democrat. Her days as a politician are numbered. Nagin will not be reelected.
And the folks who rioted in the streets after the hurricane weren't the kind to reliably turn up at the polls for anyone, but if they do vote, they'll likely be voting in Texas next time.

Why exactly is it that when interviewed all those blacks that appeared in front of of the dome and an open camera no longer wanted to return to N.O.
Recall the ones that already had plans to start a new life in Texas.
So, was it really heaven in Louisiana for blacks under Blanco and "their" Mayor Naagi.
Looks like the Reverend appeared just in time on the scene to shore and patch things up.
Who needs polls with such leadership, they're these long lasting caretakers by boast and just talk.

When ABC did their interviews after Bushs NO speach, all the blacks said it was the govs and moyors fault. This is a BS poll.

Pathetic. I think the RNC has much better things to do with its time. Will they wake up and smell the coffee?
It's about the BASE, guys!

Let em go, After 40+ yrs. the Dem's have purchased them, there in worse shape now than they've ever been, (barring slavery)If thats the house they chose to live in, so be it. We have done what we can, shown the differences between us an them, some have come, good, but we can't compete for them by seeing who throws more goodies. This has to stop.
I could care less. Blacks have rendered themselves politically irrelevant by voting 90% Dem every time. We can win without them and have for the last decade. I don't care if 0% of them like the President.

Let'em keep voting Democratic, they have and will continue to reap what they have voted. They deserve what they get. Soon only crooks, gays, Nambla, wacko enviros, PETA, Commies, and blacks will be the Dem. Party. Almost there now.

As I have said for over a decade, if we continue to let the political media write the script for this country any longer, we are truly doomed.
If they were serious professionals who cared about the citizens of their country getting true information, they would not give shysters the time of day.
But alas, it serves their purpose to incite hate by dehumanizing their political opponents.

Blanco, Nagin, Landrieu, and all those Democrat scumbags kept those people in New Orleans as long as they could. They knew if those people left--their voting base--many would never return.

We have been subjected to weeks of non-stop news coverage accusing Bush of being at fault for the disaster in Louisiana. Amazingly, we don't believe it, because we don't believe everything the news media tells us.
So why would be believe the news media when it cites a poll claiming that Louisianans of whatever stripe also believe Bush to be at fault?
First, if it were true, it wouldn't be surprising, since the media have been claiming it to be so non-stop; but secondly, if everything else they say is distorted or flatly false, why would we accept this poll as legitimate?
Again, the people of whatever stripe who really believe that Bush is out to get Louisiana, are Democrats and will likely be until the day they die. They aren't going to vote Republican, and never would have. This may include the people in the 9th Ward, but it also includes most academics. Most of the people who believe Bush blew up the levees are academics. If the poll had separated them out as a group, the percentage would have been 98%.

Using a qualifier when making such statements would be helpful.
This American black is not a total sucker. I don't judge a group by the actions of those who share similar physical distinctions and I'd appreciate the same in return.
SOME people, race aside, will believe anything that absolves them of responsibility for making a decision. Yes, a high percentage of blacks tow the demo line--but not all of us.
I've lost many friends and have strained relations with some family members over my embrace of conservatism. I fight consistently the maintain my individuality and for what?
I may not post to FR often but I do make my voice heard--I know other conservative blacks who do the same.
No anger, just a suggestion.
