"Coach Mike Tice said he was operating under the assumption that all his current players would be available to him for Sunday's game.

"I have to until I'm notified by somebody," he said."

In other words, IF GUILTY, highly paid athletes get away with what us great unwashed would already be in jail for, as long as they get on the field and win..

Does anybody else find it ironic that a Viking would be having trouble with a boating incident?

What the heck supposedly happened on what boat when? I didn't even see a link in the article referring back to whatever alleged incident the author was talking about.

Tice isn't the last say. the players have a union that tells them what they can and can't do as well. I for one, hope this crucifies any idea of building them a stadium once and for all.

I'm sick of these overpaid jackasses.

this is just more of the same...

Still pay them - something every boss in America should do; if you have legal, adult consenting sex after work hours, you should not be allowed to work, but get paid for the next week.

I wonder how long the line of lawyers at each crewmember's residence is?

Cha-Ching! A payoff(settlement) might be in order that the wife or gf won't hear ALL the details.

ESPN reported the football players were receiving and PERFORMING oral sex.

I highly doubt they were peforming oral sex on the strippers. They aren't called the Viqueens for nothing.

So a bunch of guys went on a boat and saw some strippers. It's disgusting but American men do exactly the same every day of the week. What's the big deal?

If found guilty in a court of law, these players deserve what ever punishment the law provides for. Until then, the notion that they should not be allowed to work, is ridiculous.

Can't we let the law enforcement in Minnesota do their job before we try and convict the entire team? This story seems to imply an extraordinary level of lawlessness.

Furthermore, it looks to provide an opportunity to prove why states need/should be allowed to have laws that govern sex among consent adults in public places. We cannot allow the left and their MSM to further degrade our society by covering up and ignoring these alleged crimes. But at the same time, we should allow the legal system to function in this case.

Now if the authorities in Minnesota cannot find that a crime has been committed, or lack the will to prosecute, then I would think the citizens of Minnesota should rethink their slavish devotion to the rat party.

When I heard this I could not help but remember how Ohio State's coaching legend Woody Hayes banned Playboy magazine from the locker room. According to players on the team he said, "you can't play football with an erection." Yeah, he really said that. LOL!

I agree, bench all involved. And I'm a long term Viking fan. It's unfortunate for the rest of the team not involved, but the 'love boaters' should have thought of that, too. (Not to mention the sort of 'Kobe' that the married players involved pulled on their wives...)

In other words, IF GUILTY, highly paid athletes get away with what us great unwashed would already be in jail for, as long as they get on the field and win..

Huh! Like they'll actually win! They're 1-4 so far.

"Coach Mike Tice said he was operating under the assumption that all his current players would be available to him for Sunday's game.

What audacity. I can't believe it. Tice has really slipped. I'll say it again, they're acting like they're in 'Any Given Sunday', all 'players' and gangsta, trading off their old 15-1 season, way out of reality. It shows in their loser season thus far.

Problem: the Vikings decided to shell a $10.8 million signing bonus to Fred Smoot, so placing him on the bench for his lack of morals isn't going to get them their money's worth.

Players still getting away with behavior they displayed in college and high school. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on the players and coaching staff and owners and NFL (and college coaches and college presidents).
