Laura drove me crazy today, and it wasn't just the way she drags out that moaning sound when she's deciding which call to take. Somebody tell her we know she's a lawyer.
Rush however is a pleasant surprise. He's at his best when he's teaching and analyzing, and critiquing the left and the MSM. I love it when he does that!!

I wrote John Poheretz the other day when he went off on the sexism charge. I am in the minority but I do think there is a scent of sexism by some pundits. I wrote to him very nicely why and he immediately replied "don't blame me" and he got very defensive.
I wrote him back that I didn't blame him and told him I was a big fan. I got the idea that he has been inundated with hate mail.
I think everyone has gone overboard with names being thrown around by both sides.

See that's what i'm talking about. It's one thing to question whether she was the best (we know the answer to that), but it's the way it's being done. I tried to call her a few times and couldn't get through. Every call was, I stumped for him, he betrayed me and worse. I have not heard one positive story or blog mentioned... all conservative negative viewpoints. What's with the vitriol? I too stumped... every weekend in PA for eight weeks, in NJ. for four, went to black churches in Philly, we phone banked, polled, mailed... you name it and with my disabled daughter; I don't see how they can't disagree in a normal way.
I would have more respect for these characters if they started petitions for withdrawal in the beginning instead of thinking of their ratings, books, radio audience and going on Maher/MSM while stirring the pot of anger in the party.
Bad enough the judges are scared to go to hearings, now the regular person without 'all the right credentials' could absolutely forget it. I know... who wants a regular person. I know this is a gold opportunity that we may never have (IMHO, we will have two more soon), but another Roberts (as if there is one), would have the hearings held up when a lot of issues are up on the courts (can we trust congress to do what they need to do... no... look at them now). I want the fight too and we will have it sooner or later.
I was a loyal Laura listener until Hurricane Katrina. Ingraham went over a cliff in August and has been falling further and further.
I discovered Tony Snow and now I am a loyal listener. I will never go back to listening to Ingraham.
