RINO has become a very overused acronym.
I have been called a RINO more times than I can count since I came down on the side of supporting the Miers nomination. Hell I was on this site when JimRob was a one man army behind the scenes and everyone thought it was called "whitewater file" and I get called a RINO?
Ya know what, I think the Miers nomination is a good nomination. I'm not a fly by night conservative. I'm not a RINO and I'm getting tired of people using the word in the same fashion that liberals use the word "racist"..meaning when they have run out of arguments.

RINO has become a very overused acronym.I avoid using it for that reason. I don't agree with Specter or Snowe much of the time, but they are Republicans. Not Conservative, of course -- but still Republican.
I reserve RINO for a politician who says he's a Republican but votes with the 'Rats more often than not. Two examples are Jumping Jim Jeffords (before he jumped) and Senator Lowell Weicker.

Well, I'm talking about the RINOs in the US Senate. There are NO RINOs on FR. We're all battle-hardened, right-wing wacko conservatives!!
