Perhaps you're confused, Meirs is not the subject of a filibuster, which is of course what both Kristol and Krauthammer were referring to.

LOL. I'm not confused at all. (Thanks for your concern about my mental state.)

The underlying question is whether people can block the President's nominee. Both Krauthammer and Kristol felt the President's nominees deserved a vote.

Fine, then vote her down. That would be far worse politically and cause even greater damage to the party.
