Thanks so much to all of you for your prayers and words. I can't say how much it means to me.
My mom is a strong person, as strong a person as I know, and especially strong in her faith in God. I know that she prayed non stop when I suffered a burst lung when I was born, and I lived. My grandmother, who is a cancer survivor, flew in from California as soon as she heard my mom was in the hospital, and my dad's parents have been visiting every day. All of my relatives know, and our Parish's pastor knows. She has prayers going from all over the world.
Again, thank you all so much for your prayers. I and my family will be staying strong, keeping faith. It's what we have to do.
I will pray for your mom and you and your family tonight, as well. Hang in tight and be a light for her. God Speed, baseballfanjm, this is the toughest stuff in life.
Prayers for your mom and all who hold her dear. May your hearts be filled with God's peace. May you, as a family who has come together for support, gather strength from one another and offer each other comfort during this trying time. May God bless and guide the hands that care for your mom, and help them to make the decisions needed for her restoration to health.
