<< School head Kjell Gislefoss, said he thought that the Star of David can be seen to represent the State of Israel and is fearful of offending the school's Muslim students, citing immigrants from the Palestinian territories.

Quisling would be proud. >>

"Would be?"

Quisling is alive and well.

From Aberdine to York and Amsterdamned to Zagreb, in every abjectly appeasement-obsessed Euro-peon black-hole-for-a-soul.

[Ain't "multiculturalism" grand]

That's like saying black teachers are banned for fear of offending their racist students. Get rid of the racists.

Who the hell started this "offended" crap? It seems that it is now the catch all word.

I am offended by the following:

I am offended by mudslimes beheading people.

I am offended by mudslimes committing terrorist acts for 30+ years.

I am offended by mudslimes convert or die devil worship.

I am offended when my president says Is-Slime is a religion of peace. It is not a religion nor is it peaceful.

I am offended by CAIR.

I am offended by the MSM kissing the asses of these cesspool sperm devil worshipers.

I am offended by seeing cops armed like they are in a Rambo movie thanks to mudslimes"

I am offended that I must give up my 4th Amendment rights because of mudslimes when I go to an airport, a sporting event, into government (read ours) building etc.

I am offended by mudslimes actions towards women

I am offended that we are not allowed to run these pukes out of our country and have to sit back while our rights are eroded daily all in the name of security and protection from mudslimes.

I am offended every time some liberal puke says allah is the same as my God.

In general I am offended that we have to share the planet with such vermin.

When will we take a stand against all the offending offenses? We should be protected against being offended just like these precious spineless groups.

Can life get wackier? Some courts are protecting religious imagery because of its "historical" significance. It's pathetic that mortals would place Our Creator as a mere history lesson, but by ruling the imagery as such, the argument over "religion" is completely ignored...and so are the atheists

Just another example of the "new" European anti-Semitism.

anti-Israel = anti-Semitism despite the left's claims to the contrary.

WOW! Old news is so exciting. (story from february 04)

Some principal pressured a teacher at a school for immigrants/refugees, many of whom are palestinian arabs, not to wear the star of david. The teacher was not a Jew, and his wearing the star was a political statement of support for Israel, which the students were pestering the principal about. The principal found no support for his position in the political establishment, the ban was quickly overturned, and the teacher is still wearing the star of david.

This thread is proof positive that the left doesn't have a monopoly in the doom and gloom department.

Note: this topic is from October 8, 2005. Thanks IAF ThunderPilot (wherever you are).
A teacher working at an adult education center who has been told to stop wearing a Star of David because it "provokes the many Muslim students at the school" ...School head Kjell Gislefoss, said he thought that the Star of David can be seen to represent the State of Israel and is fearful of offending the school's Muslim students, citing immigrants from the Palestinian territories... "I can't accept this. It is a small star, 16 millimeters (0.6 inches) that I have around my neck, usually under a T-shirt. I see it as my right to wear it," Telhaug told NRK. Telhaug, who is not Jewish, teaches the Norwegian language and culture to new immigrants at the school. "I see it as the oldest religious symbol we have in our culture, because without Judaism there would be no Christianity," he said. The decision to ban the Jewish symbol from the school was slammed as "unacceptable" by head of local Education Association, Heidi Hauge Uldal.
