My hubby and I went to a wedding in a Methodist church last month and the minister talked and prayer to God our "parent". Ugh. For a wedding present, I bought them a NJKV Family Bible. :)
My father-mother would slap me upside the head with his-her "mighty hand" if I randomly started changing the words to The Lord's prayer.
