Better to be divided by truth than have unity in the perversity of diversity.

Chris Core can go piss up a rope, accusing someone of being a lesbian.

No it's common sense. If you are calling me a Nazi, this I wouldn't recommend.

I have colleagues where I teach who are gay or lesbian. They are some of our best teachers and scholars at my university. There is never any indication that their treatment of students is inappropriate or unprofessional. They live quiet lives; certain of them have been in decades-long monogamous relationships. They do not deserve to be excluded from their profession simply because they are gay. Nobody chooses to be gay (not knowingly), but they do choose how they live. I have nothing against gay people who live quiet, responsible lives. They shouldn't be excluded from professions on that basis.

I have two male and half a dozen female friends in their 50's that have never married. Only one is gay, and really more asexual then that.

The others would have loved to have married but never found the right person and by 40 were so set in their way, and used to living alone, that they just gave up.

Never married makes one suspect to those with small minds.
