Fair enough. I believe that 33(?) Supreme court justices were not judges, so it's not exactly a precedence to nominate a non-judge. As long as she can read the Constitution, keep her hands off my weapons and refrain from legislating from the bench, she is far better than O'Connor any day......
I don't have confidence that those things are true in this case. From the information we have so far, it looks like she's all over the map. Anyway I doubt that Harry Reid would support a candidate who would do those things.
