This is a classic example of, "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. Obviously, the young girls were the doers and the abductor was the teacher.

This one should be on mugshots.com.

I bet he regrets the day when his jail friends hear this story.

Reminds me of a Seinfeld where Kramer was taling a Karate in a class full of nine year olds.

They finally ganged up on him and beat him up in the alley.

A happy ending to a good story. I take martial arts myself, so these kinds of stories interest me.

My ultimate home protection set up: the dog barks to wake me, and I use firearms (and since I live in Kentucky, we are actually allowed to have them) while I have ammunition. If I run out, then my 2nd degree blackbelt comes in handy.

Kind of reminds me of Inspector Cluseau's assistant...always attacking Cluseau by surprise to keep him in tip top shape..

Ahh yes, Cato. One of the funniest acts in that whole series of movies.

"Cato....CATO!! This is your employer speaking. I am calling off the attack plans for tonight!"

After his arrest, Jacobs told police that he intended to tie up the residents to "keep everybody quiet" while he stole valuables, including "loose money, jewelry and VCRs."

That's some buuuuuuull-****. Those little girls are lucky this guy's a complete boob.

Maybe he was wanting to teach them advanced ninja training.

The lamp that the dad used must have been made of ugly stick.

The story does not mention anywhere that the ten year old twins won the fight or "whupped" him. The story does say that the commotion and their screaming awoke their father who then whacked the creep with a lamp.

That's an important distinction for those who believe that ten year old blue belts could defeat an adult male.

However this story is important and serves as a reminder that martial arts schools are not required to run background checks.

Parents should not assume that their children are safe with their martial arts instructors.

My oldest daughter works in security at a conference center. She is raising a 4 year old son, and he already wants to be a cop. He wants to be able to take care of mommie...

These girls are lucky. The thing that saved them is their bedroom sharing. When the other girl woke, she screamed. The screams brought daddy, and whack goes the lamp. I recommend a 9mm... but in Vienna, VA, they probably allow that!

...For the affluent consumer, Capitol File is an appropriate choice--the publication is delivered to homes valued over $750,000 and incomes above $250,000 in areas that include Adams Morgan; Bethesda, Md.; and Vienna, Va. It is also distributed to congressional offices, area airports and fine hotels. Capitol File seeks to be indispensable for those seeking finer things, and Kate Gibbs, the editor-in-chief, thinks that the District needed this type of publication... (thehilltoponline)

To heck with a lamp, had it been my house, the only thing this guy would have got is both barrels of a Stevens 311A 12 gauge double barrel shotgun loaded with #4 buckshot in the face.

The girls' father whacked him with the base of a table lamp and yanked off part of his mask.

Wow, this reminds me of the finale of a Scooby Doo episode.
