And that airplane that went down in Queens? What's the true story on that?
Of course you realize that questioning the official version of anything is a quick way to be labeled a "tinfoiler". ;^P
For my part, I wear aluminum foil for cost reasons.
After all, the mind rays adapt if you don't change the resonant frequency of your hat frequently. <8^O
Knowing that there's something fishy going on in the commercial media (aka "MSM") and has been for decades still doesn't blunt the impact of witnessing a nationwide news blackout in a case like this.
I don't have a TV and rarely listen to the radio, but today I've been following my local affiliate -- and continuing to be amazed by the ongoing and deliberate absence of this story.
Un-freakin'-believable! :^(
But one of the NBC anchors let it slip on 9/11. Kouric or her sidekick, I don't recall which, actually said "...when they blew up flight 800..."
Short answer:
It went down because it was an Airbus. (That's another whole conspiracy story).
Detail: On that particular model of airbus, the pilot can literally kick the tail off the plane, and this is what happened. The pilot encountered a wake of another aircraft, and rapidly slammed the rudder left and right to counteract this wake. In doing so, he overstressed the rudder and it snapped off.
Most modern aircraft have computerized damping to prevent control inputs so large as to cause damage. Airbus does not have that as part of their programming.
Note: rudder movements are done by the pilot using his feet, hence the term kicking the tail off.
The indelible mark on my mind regards Queens is the fireman beating his chest and screaming at the terrorists, "I'm in Far Rockaway, come get me!!". Within days the plane went down in Far Rockaway,I believe. Very scary!!
