Yet the Dems like her? What am I missing? Sheer unwashed speculation on my part, but maybe they like her because she isn't Brown, Luttig or Clement. And then there's the age issue - even if confirmed, she likely will not serve as long as JRB would likely have served.

I will try to retain an open mind on this pick for now but I must say I would have greatly preferred seeing liberal brains explode over the selection of one of the above, especially JRB. As the SAS say, 'who dares wins'.
