Well, she thanked her Mom during the announcement this morning. I'm guessing that means Mom is still alive and able to understand. Genetics are key in longevity. A 60 year old woman often has decades of full life ahead of her. A 60 year old man would be a little shakier, from an actuarial standpoint.
Well, Dad is dead as a doornail...so you do the math. It's a crapshoot. She sure doesn't look vigorous.
