If they had student tickets, they would have scanned them right in -- takes about 20 seconds or less to be scanned and near halftime there are so many people milling around the stadium, no one would have paid much attention. This particular girl did because she comes from that part of the world. She heard the blast and then saw these two guys split and she was sure they were part of it.
BTW, security at the gates tonight was a joke! If you have a ticket, you can get right in before half because there are no crowds waiting to get in the stadium. You walk up, hand them your ticket, they scan, and away you go. With so many people around before and during halftime, you could get lost easily.

I was 2 blocks away when the 2nd bomb went off. The bomb squad had contained it then let it detonate. So it was muffled but it had the same percussion as the first explosion.
It is possible that two middle-eastern men, hearing a bomb explode, might think that the smart thing to do is to run into the stadium, either because it would be a safe place, or because they don't want to be near an explosion because they KNOW what everybody is thinking.
I have no idea what the facts are. I don't believe we know for a fact that there was a 2nd bomb. That could have been a mis-reporting, or it could be that they simply blew up a pack that was nearby to make sure it wasn't another bomb.
I am completely open as to what happened. I'm just saying that we will know a lot more in a few hours, if the government doesn't decide to supress the evidence.
I'm open about that as well. I don't know they are supressing actual evidence of attacks. I just know that they COULD do so, and if they did I might be persuaded to agree with them, if there's nothing the rest of us can do anyway and it keeps us all from panicking when there is nothing better to do.
Earlier this evening I was thinking about how we will be bombed. 1200+ Iraqi's dead in the past few weeks. There is nothing in our country that could prevent that from happening here, except possibly the lack of hundreds of people in this country who would be willing to die in the process. Certainly we can't really stop it.
