I haven't been on the computer all weekend, just got online a few minutes ago, checked email and saw a Breaking News Alert from Fox, sent last night -
ONE STUDENT KILLED IN BOMBING AT OKLAHOMA UNIVERSITY DURING KANSAS STATE-OKLAHOMA FOOTBALL GAME
Of course then I get on FR, see the thread in the breaking news bar, start to read, go to check Fox News online, CNN etc, and nothing. There's got to be some sort of news blackout on this - a bomb goes off killing one person 100 yards from a stadium full of 80k people, and NO ONE is talking about it? Astounding.
I haven't read but the beginning and end of this thread, can't take the time to go back and read 2500+ posts, but it seems to me like a suicide bomber headed for the stadium, detonated prematurely, thank God. Is that the general consensus here?
I can't believe there isn't a single front page headline on any of the major news sites. Shaking my head...
Search PhiKapMom's posts. She has one of the boots on the ground.
It's probably foolish to assume that Fox cares anything about accuracy, but if the authorities don't know the identity of the exploded one, how would Fox know it's a student?
