I kinda figured it was the PhiKap house, but didn't want to *assume* so, just from your name, lol! Yeah, I know exactly where you mean. Know the DG house well. And I think I had some Home Ec (don't tell anybody) classes right across the street, IIRC. That was *before* they put that bookstore where they did. I'm old.
I just posted someone's quote from my OU fanforum who mentioned the benches, so maybe that's the same area that we think could be the "courtyard" of Cross Hall.
The bookstore has moved to the stadium -- it is great! It is much, much larger. My son and some of his fraternity brothers chose my screen name.
That has to be the area they are talking about. Usually the team buses are parked closer to the stadium on the northeast to east side of Cross. There are benches, trees, and a lot of gardens between Cross and the building to the south.
