Now I'm getting paranoid about going to see Texas Tech at Nebraska next week. Perhaps a stadium full of around 80000 people might not be so safe. My wife wants me to back out....but I can't...it's a Husker game!!!!

(I actually evacuated before I decided against evacuating.)

Re: the TTU/Nebraska game, you should be nervous for more reason than just terrorism!
;-)
Naw, if you don't go to the game, then you let the terrorists win. Go to the game and lose only to the Red Raiders instead.

I've thought about the suicide bomber at the big game scenario, and my only idea for reducing the risk and enjoying the game is to either arrive early or late and leave early or late. The theory is the bomber will detonate as soon as he/she gets into a crowd, which would be in the crowds entering or leaving the game just outside the seating area. So avoid crowds entering or leaving the game by arriving and leaving early or late when there are no crowds.
Even if there is a wave of bombings some day, I'm not going to stop going to games. I'm just going to arrive and depart at odd times. It's sort of an Austin Powers thing...be an international man of mystery who slips quietly into baseball games when there's one out in the top of the 2nd inning.
