Vandal leaves threat on BHS wall
Officials at the Bentonville High School were notified of a threat written on a bathroom wall Monday, Principal Steve Jacoby said.
The school continued its practice of notifying parents via letter whenever a threat is made against the school.
According to the letter, the words "I will kill everyone on 10/25/05" were written on a bathroom wall. The threat was in a boys bathroom in a second-floor classroom hallway, Assistant Principal Tommy Runnels said.

Student charged in two threat incidents
A Western Heights Middle School seventh-grader has been charged in two of three incidents of written threats last week.
The third incident is being investigated, police said.
According to Hagerstown Police Department Sgt. Paul Kifer, the boy is accused of creating graffiti that prompted evacuations of the school Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. The police responded to the scene about 1:05 p.m. Tuesday and 1:12 p.m. Wednesday.

The Blount County Sheriff's Department received a call Monday afternoon from a disconnected cell phone saying there was a bomb on bus number 18.

Second False Bomb Threat Empties Rudyard Schools
RUDYARD - County detectives investigating a Thursday bomb threat at Rudyard Middle and High Schools were near at hand when a second written threat was found at the school Monday afternoon.
According to Chippewa County Undersheriff Bob Savoie, detectives reported good progress in running down leads to the Thursday message before the second threat in five days was found by school staff, apparently in a school bathroom. The modus operandi of the second threat was similar to the first false alarm, Savoie confirmed.

Bomb Threat: Fort McCoy Investigates at Local School
(FULL STORY)A Fort McCoy unit is needed at a local high school after a device was found with a note. It happened in Durand on Monday. Someone found the device and note in a bathroom at school. A unit from Fort McCoy was called in to investigate. No one was hurt. The device turned out to be a car part. The school canceled all of its activities on Monday night. Boy arrested at school with Homemade Bomb
NEWPORT NEWS — An 11-year-old student was arrested this morning in connection with a homemade bomb brought to school.
Newport News police said a school resource officer at Mary Passage Middle School arrested the boy at 7:35 a.m. today after the officer found a device made from a plastic bottle, cleaning fluid and aluminum foil in a student’s backpack.

Amtrak train delayed by bomb threat
WESTERLY, R.I. -- An Amtrak train from Boston to Washington was delayed for more than two hours in Westerly on Tuesday evening as law enforcement investigated a bomb threat, Amtrak and police officials said.
A man called Amtrak in Boston and said there was an explosive device "set to go off" on Train 177, which left Boston at 5:35 p.m. carrying 115 passengers.
