Bomb threat delays flights at Long Beach

Oct 25, 2005 — WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A "non-specific, non-credible" bomb threat has delayed flights at the Long Beach Airport in California, a spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security said on Tuesday.

A separate bomb threat earlier in the day at Orange County airport, also in California, has been resolved, the spokesman said.

"A separate bomb threat earlier in the day at Orange County airport, also in California, has been resolved, the spokesman said."

Resolved, eh? Wow, that was fast - what's the person's name who called in the threat and where are they holding him/her? Oh wait - they mean they've determined the airport to be "safe" right - not that they've actually SOLVED the case! LOL
< /sarcasm >

Too much going on by way of "threats". I think they're trying to lull everyone in to a false sense of security. I hope I'm wrong, but I'll be praying most of the day on the 29th...
