More about the Norwalk, CA incident last Friday...
NORWALK - An unattended backpack at a Metro Green Line Station in Norwalk was removed Friday by a bomb squad, but not before a traffic nightmare on sections of two freeways that were closed as a precaution.
Shortly after noon, the backpack was blown up by the bomb squad. Authorities did not immediately say if it contained explosives.

A high school in St. Clair County has been forced to evacuate after a suspicious package was found Monday morning.
The Capac Fire Department and a Michigan State Police bomb squad were called to Capac High School -- located at 541 N. Glassford St. -- after the discovery was made. The students were evacuated as a precaution.
I will attempt to find out more about this one...

Cohasset police patrolling: Threat made to bring gun to school
COHASSET - Police are patrolling the middle school-high school today after the discovery of a note in which someone threatened to bring a gun into the building, officials said.

Bomb Threat Reported At Triton High
Students at Triton High School kept the bleachers warm under cool temperatures due to a bomb threat this morning.
COMMENT: This article includes comments apparently from students on the bottom of the page. One in particular said that "all the teachers cared about was us using our phones. Apparently the teachers should've made it more clear that bombs can be set off by phone signals! Sounds like keeping these kids in the bleachers outside for 4 hours was not the best idea....

High School Dismissed After Bomb Threat

DUNN, N.C. -- Triton High School was dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Monday after a bomb threat was phoned in to the school, authorities said.


Bomb threat prompts school alert
Students of Cohasset Middle/High School will have to leave their backpacks at home today. When they enter school, students will be individually searched by faculty and staff. Extra police will patrol the halls.
