I knew an Army adviser, who was in Cambodia, and fought right along with the natives.

We went to Viet Nam as advisers and look what happened there, it is a fancy name for "troops" to me.....

Next, granny, you are quite correct that in 'Nam the advsisers often fought alongside those whom they advised. In our case, these folks were Special Forces and they weren't FORCED to fight...they wanted to fight because they were pros and they saw a need in accordance with what they perceived the policy of their government was in relation to the conflict. Pay attention to what I just said and apply it to the new situation. Those Russkies are PROS, not conscripts. I think we are seeing the beginning of the old testament prophesy wherein Russia will attack Israel all out at some point and the power of the LORD will spare his people. I don't think anybody else will send any more so called advisers because they're not needed. Certainly the Israelis don't need to be taught how to fight an enemy they've been victorious over everytime out the gate since 1948. The Russians won't allow other countries into what has become their domain. I think granny, you're quite correct. This will soon spin out of control.
