Great list o' links. I sure am glad I don't live in the Philippines. Things seem to be steadily getting worse over there.

"Bombers eye malls, trains and US Embassy"
By ANTHONY VARGAS, And WILLIAM B. DEPASUPIL, The Manila Times Reporters
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Shopping malls, train stations of the Metro Rail Transit and Light Rail Transit and the US Embassy in Manila were among the "possible" targets of terror cells of Jema'ah Islamiyah and Abu Sayyaf in Metro Manila.
A senior intelligence officer of the Armed Forces disclosed Tuesday that the terrorists groups might "launch" an attack on these places in the last quarter of the year.
"Its a strong possibility that these terrorists might conduct Bali-type bombings in Metro Manila. We consider the months of November and December the critical period," the intelligence officer, who requested anonymity, said.
The source made the revelation a day after the military confirmed the presence of two terror cells of JI and Abu Sayyaf in Metro Manila.
The source added that they have identified the JI operatives who were in Metro Manila. The intelligence officer refused to elaborate.
Lt. Col. Buenaventura Pascual, the AFP Public Information chief, said that each terror cell has at least three members."
