I did speak to the sheriff for that area. He said they know who owns the house but not who owns the transmitter. Also said it was a older transmitter. I asked what he meant by older and he said not 2005. He also indicated that transmitters were designed to be taken off airplanes rather easily. I know nothing about airplanes other than I don't like them, or flying in them :-)
