WABC By Anthony Johnson
(Paramus, N.J. -WABC, Sept. 29, 2005) - Health officials have issued a new flu alert - but this one is for dogs. Veterinarians in New Jersey have received letters from the state telling them to be on the look out because this potentially fatal virus has already started to spread.
Eyewitness News reporter Anthony Johnson has the story live from Paramus.
Officials are telling dog owners that they don't need to panic at this point but they do need to pay very close attention if their dog comes down with an illness because this virus is spreading throughout our area.

Does that ring any bells ?
Thank you for the dog disease link.
This will spread to the rest of the area quickly.

I'm wondering if this is what is causing the dog illnesses and the spread of e-coli. I did read in one article so far that some of the raw materials are imported from Canada and then sold as Aron Pet Food. Something to consider: heat food thoroughly...
Bacteria: Listeria, Salmonella, E-coli
