This may have started in FL, but now it's spread to my state. In some ways this is different than what happened to Terri. Some would say worse. Here we have a man who is clearly conscious and coherent and says he wants to live. He's artificially doped up so much that he can't say anything - meaning he can be killed then. Is this the future?
Could be, now that a probate judge gets to decide now. If I were a betting man, I'd bet that someone will claim that the Terri Schindler case is precedent to allow Jimmy Chambers to be killed against his will. Months ago, I and others predicted that the Terri case would be used a precedent to get the next legal precedent that the death culture wants --- the ability to kill someone when it's clearly against their will. That's what the stakes are here.
