The living will can kill you. If someone changes their mind and decides they'd like to live their life to the fullest and to it's natural end, the living will can become an instrument of death waved right in their face.
In Largo at nursing homes, they actually take people's food away and the patients will ask where their breakfast is or where is their dinner? They want to eat! They die of starvation in a few weeks. This is illegal and immoral. Florida is the starvation state when someone asks for their meal and they are completely cut off from food. These people are not on a feeding tube. They take away their fork and spoon.

I was recently told by a friend, who works at a nursing home, that the elderly were slowly being moved out of the nursing facility and being replaced by aids patients. Seems that federal funding is higher for aids patients. $$$$
I suppose they're moving them to hospice but they could just be going home.
This could be a story that the Empire Journal might want to investigate.

Do you have any documentation to back this up? If so, have you reported these abuses to Adult Protective Services? If you haven't, why not?
