The only issue that David Gibbs can ever remember Jesse Jackson and Rush Limbaugh agreeing on was the fact that Terri Schiavo should remain alive.

The mass media corporations are the most corrupt and corrupting organizations in America. With their enormous influence, they underpin the culture of death. Do remember that just because someone calls something a "right" doesn't mean it is so in a genuine sense. Since God gives life, it is His right alone to take. Respect for Life and Objective Reporting - Where the Media has Lost it's Footing.
Dear Messrs. Schieffer and Andrews,
I write in response to your recent report on the Supreme Court and euthanasia, which was presented in the context of debate. In it, an individual was interviewed who called assisted suicide a "personal human right." The following explains why the presentation's context was in moral/ethical error. An explanation of where our human rights originate is in order, so you will understand.
The Basis of Objective Reporting on Life
Messrs. Schieffer and Andrews, America's founders knew that to be objective, they had to acknowledge God as the giver of human rights. From harsh experience, they knew that left to the government, arbitrary lines on life could be easily drawn. The Founders expressed the government's duty to protect, not to establish, human rights in this most concise statement in the Declaration. It is merits analysis.
We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and pursuit of Happiness.
Truths. Truths are objective, not subjective. In other words, these are not opinion, debate or an issue.
Self-evident. Means obvious to the mind of normal intelligence. Explanations are unnecessary.
Created equal. Means human dignity belongs equally to everyone from their beginning and remains until their natural end. In other words, all human life is morally equivalent.
Endowed by their Creator. Means human rights are not given by the courts, governments, referendums or one's self, these are given by the Creator.
Unalienable. Means no government can justly take these away.
Life. This is the first human right.
Just because someone presents something as a human right, doesn't mean it is so in a genuine sense. For example, no one has the "right" to kill another human being or even one's self, since killing is not given to us as a human right by our Creator. When killing is called a human "right," an oxymoron is used to hide what is actually the case. This is so with terms such as "right" to abortion and "right" to die. You needed to acknowledge this in your telecast, instead of presenting someone who called it a "personal human right."
Where You Have Lost Your Footing
Failing to acknowledge God as the creator and giver of human rights is where CBS and the rest of the mass media have lost their footing. The likely reason is greed. Since "issues" can generate interest and raise market share it explains your weakness to think of most everything as such. Yet everything is not a valid "issue" or "debate." One such subject is that of racism, which you do present correctly. Although people could be found who say that discrimination is wonderful, you don't present them because you know it's objective evil. You must do the same for life itself. Life is our most fundamental right. It is given by God and not to be taken by us.

Jeb still doesn't get it, does he? I said the day that Terri died, "Florida must be punished." I haven't had to do a thing - no organized boycott was ever required. Mother Nature's taken care of everything. So far Pinellas County has not gotten a direct hit. It's been very lucky hurricane wise.
However, Red Tide has killed lots of the fish in Pinellas County. Tourism is way down because Red Tide stinks and causes respiratory distress. The Tourist development agencies had not been forthright with states and countries about the severity of the red tide. The state of Florida caught in another lie? What a surprise! (not)
The Euros are cancelling their visits to Pinellas County.
Think of it this way: Terri didn't get to have any water which killed her. But, there's PLENTY of water everywhere else.

Our recent topics have been on living wills and this is a powerful example of what can go wrong. It is natural for us to think of Terri and her plight as something happening to just one person, but the Legacy of Terri is a beacon for all of us, an alarm as to how easy it is to slide the slippery slope.

The old man who hit the homeless man got his license renewed two years ago. He has alzheimer's and the homeless guy is deceased and lost a leg way before the old man got to the sunshine skyway toll booth. The old man thought he was in Pinellas Park.
Maybe Florida needs to spend more resources testing drivers instead of trying to push a culture of death. It doesn't necessarily take an alzheimer patient to cause an accident though. Sometimes it's a teen with a lead foot. Florida is the worst place to go for a walk. That was proven data. If it's not current data, trolls, don't bother to flame me.
Florida doesn't have a lot of sidewalks, has poor lighting on major state highways and bad drivers. It's a recipe for disaster.

They insist on wanting to kill Jimmy Chambers and he doesn't want to die, but that is irrelevant to some.
Certain people could benefit from a little encouragement and a life might be saved.
The nursing home administrator, Marcy Drewry, was unavailable for comment.
