He got a ground transport to take him to his house. When it got bogged down driving up to the front steps of his house in a affluent neighborhood of New Orleans, they flagged down a rescue helicopter and tied it up for about a half an hour while Rep. William Jefferson (Democrat-LA)argued with the crew about taking his two suitcases, computer and box (size of small freezer) with him. So it finally took off and another 2 ton ground transport was called to cart his ass and belongings to safety.
