Thats what I thought too. I used to work at 50 miles form there, and there are lots of beach that doesnt look much different from that. But I noticed that the photo file name had the word medium in it. I tried replacing it with the word large. No luck. Then big, and found this:

Jeff, could those be cinder blocks in yours? I can't quite make out what I'm looking at.
What are those sticks, power poles? Wow. It just swept everything away. It reminds me of photos of the OKC tornado. All you saw left of some of those houses were a foundation with nothing more than an inch or two of pipe sticking up out of the concrete.
Pretty damn dismal.
That used to be Holly Beach. I guess there might have been 100 or so full time residents. Everything else was either 2nd homes (beach houses) or rental property.
