I agree. The Human Society is known for being pretty picky about who gets animals. I just can't feature taking all this on in a motel for Pete's sakes.

Tucson has a website for abandoned animals but the requirements for adopting are strict and expensive. You have to pay for the spaying and the shots, and they aren't about to give you food and/or litter, much less the carrier and litter box. (Unless both are cardboard.)
