True. At least some of the euros are cinvinced that Iran has no intention of giving up its nuke program. In the end we will have to go in a clean the place out or have Israel do it.

The euros of course are still in a position to triangulate between us and the mullahs and extract bribes, sweetheart trade deals, etc. from Iran in the same way they did with Saddam, by saying we're the ones holding the Americans back, etc. The French and the Germans sounded tough on Iraq until the very last moment.
