Her opening line at the "peace" demonstration was a real winner: "If we didn't know it now, we certainly know it now."
This rally is a great comedic diversion from the Hurricane Rita coverage. Tune in and indulge.

Anything new happen or is it still a bunch of convoluted mixed messages about how they all hate America? You missed Ramsey Clark nominating Aristide for President.
To: rdwtic
And why are these folks yelling? Is it so ramsey's little girl can hear them?Little???

they all say "brothers and sisters" must be code for something...a verbal secret handshake My 2 cents -- It goes at least back to the International Workers of the World -- IWW -- Wobblies. As you noted, a verbal handshake. The organizing songs from the teen's through the 40's were heavily into "Brothers and Sisters". Pete Seeger still uses it. I suppose it can be said to go back to the tent revivals. That is the "Unionists" trying to borrow the thunder of the evangelists. In the early days of the Unions, the same audiences tended to go to both types of meetings.

I found a link to the traffic cams around DC.....should give a good idea of what the "people traffic" looks like in the area surrounding where this "Peace Rally" is taking place
http://www.trafficland.com/findacam/trafficvideo.php?uid=0&map=142
Looks to me like they are all pretty much gathered in the one place we are seeing on CSPAN much different that the ANSWER guy suggested ('member he said there were people lined up and down Pennsylvania Avenue?---doesn't look like it)
