My guess is that the highest winds will be over the next couple hours with the inner eyewall coming ashore.

According to a report here, the first land areas are already getting 100 mph sustained. So that will peak in 1 to 2 hours. Backside wind speeds should only be about 75 % or 50 % of front side ?

I had thought the backside/after the eye was worse, but I could be wrong. I'm definitely not an expert on these things. Perhaps someone else on this thread can help?
