There's a lot of consequences. One of the more significant ones is that the MSMSOS will now have to stop saying that it's impossible to evacuate a major American city, and another is that they can't continue to give the corrupt politicos in LA a pass. Texas very publically got *FIVE TIMES* the number of people out of the strike zone that LA had to get, in LESS time than Louisiana.
Approximately five million people, all evacuated in about 72 hours.
"...all evacuated in about 72 hours..."
Huh? I thought the highways are still all clogged up and they were all going to die out there?! /s
I had to turn off the radio when O'Reilly was screaming how the evacuation plan "failed" 'cuz people spent 14 hours in their cars.
Sounds to me that moving thousands of times more people than the roads are designed for WILL be a major pain in the arse, but it was NOT a failure.
Yep, Spkry, I am trying to get numb enough not to think about that either...
How did we get so oblivious? And, PLEASE tell me how to get our grown and flown kids to figure out which wat the "wind is blowing"? I am truly getting scared for them.
When you actually USE your city and state resources you can accomplish a lot.
