Just had a nice,
long conversation with Ev.:)
He's doing great and was very happy to report that the training is ahead of schedule, which has earned the guys a couple extra days of leave; he will be coming home Oct. 29th for a week!
He did so well on his EMT re-certification test that he was made an assistant instructor for the rest of medic school.
2/3 of medic school is finished; now comes the "fun part" for him, field training.....down and dirty.........starting IV's while stretched out on the ground under simulated battle conditions, etc.
When that's done they go back to MS for that last month.
He said he sent some pictures (online) to Walmart; I will pick them up tomorrow and figure out a way to post them here; he took some after the hurricane showing some of the damage, and also has some from the sendoff last month.
I sent along the greetings from all of you, and told him about all of the birthday wishes you posted last week. He thought that was pretty cool.:)

Have Walmart do them on a CD. Pop the CD in, follow the simple instructions and they will be on your hard drive. Upload to your web space, or let me know if you need some, and VOILA! pictures to post.
Even I was able to do the CD bit. LOL!
