I'd have to agree w/you. My father in law is a big gun enthusiast and would probably tell me that posing with guns like that is borderline irresponsible, b/c your supposed to treat every gun like it's loaded.
Now if these are toy guns or paint guns then I'd have a different stance.
The challenge is I get Eaker's humor and appreciate it but even for the best educated family on guns.. it does come across like your not treating it with the respect it deserves.
Did anyone else think like this?
No, you don't know Eaker and his family, those of us that do know it was done in a safe manner, back off.
I was aghast at those photos.
My smartass remark is that if you're going to let your kids play with guns - which you shouldn't, you could at least teach them a proper grip and stance.
My serious remark is it's wholly inappropriate all the way around.
If every weapon is loaded how do you clean them.
I know when a weapon is loaded and I don't clean loaded weapons. I unload them first.
Then they are unloaded.
There might be other threads on knitting or bleaching hair where you have more expertise.
Nope....but then I know Eaker and his troops and his safety record.........uh oh....er ahh , all joking aside it's a safe posed grin for freepers from long time friend Eaker. Aside he shoots his kid he loses a tax deduction and the Mom would kill him !.....:o)
Eaker if yer gonna post some dangerous pics for us go down to Ricks on Wiesenheimer er what ever that main shopping street is called and get me a few snapshots of all those ladies that polish the brass poles in their undies !!
