One good benefit to having had several hurricanes go over and by me last year; the counterclockwise rotations of 3 consecutive hurricanes blew the mosquito population to...who knows where? The mosquitoes this year are the lightest I have seen in 8 years. Hopefully that will happen to the bayou area as well.

I hope so! All that flooding they will need to spray and spray if they weren't blown away. I think they should spray anyway.

I was in Picayune, MS last weekend helping with the cleanup. Didn't see a single mosquito. Tons of "Love Bugs" though. Had to stop twice on the way back to clean the windshield.
