Somebody smoking - aching for a cigarette after many hours of being cooped up in the non-smoking bus - amidst the oxygen bottles! - is my guess on the real cause.
It must have been smoking. It just HAD to be smoking.
They said a tire caught on fire and sparked the oxygen... Wasn't the driver changing the tire?
I was a little nervous, being chided about my computer hygiene.
So are you saying that all the people who reported the brakes being on fire are being paid off to protect a smoker?
I told someone this morning that was my theory for the bus explosion ... I felt mean saying it, but I remember my husband's elderly aunt on oxygen sneaking cigarettes in the bathroom. How she managed to eventually die without blowing up the house is a miracle.
Heard a witness interview earlier state that one of the tires was on fire. Speculation it was sparks from the brakes. I have no doubt that oxygen caused the ultimate conflagration.
Smoking alright....... but something other than a cigarette may have been the root cause.
