On the last radar sequence (covering about 40 minutes I think) I saw due north motion, with perhaps a hint of an eastward component in the eye. Perhaps. But north, yes.

Frank Billingsly who has been the NBC weatherman in Houston who has been a big time drama king has looked down the past 30 minutes. He said that people that are very stressed out and panicked from Houston should start breathing a sigh of relief. He said it looks like it will be moving toward Louisiana.

I feel sorry for all of those people who were on the road for 18-24 hours.

The unfortunate thing about this for Houston is that the next time there is a big storm like this, most Houstonians/Galvestonians will stay put and this could be deadly next time around.
