Dangerous Hurricane Rita is expected to make landfall in the northeast Gulf of Mexico within 24 hours. Tornados have spawned in Louisiana. Water is filling the Ninth Ward of New Orleans again. A bus carrying elderly evacuees was gutted by fire this morning outside Dallas, with multiple fatalities. Television crews have positioned their hurricane reporters throughout the region to attain maximum drama effects. Whoooooa.

Seems like a lot of sacrifice for ratings...wonder if he is ordered to do this.
Do you happen to know the wind velocity where he is?
Good Luck.
Talk with you as soon as possible....
They've lost Shep
You're kidding!
Tell me it isn't true.
HAhahaha! Shep is so gonna bite the pavement again.
Wish I did.
Watching the "journalists" is the highlight of the hurricane so far.
Azle should be just fine...I wouldn't worry about it...in fact the only thing to worry about might be the foundation from lack of water...
sheesh...the hurricane is now moving more north, northeast..which means an even less chance of rain here probably...
Have a good time in Denver...at least you will be cool I betcha!
Thanks!
It's one of those that just BEGS for a response. :)
Yes, his waterproof eyeliner started to fail him.
I just saw on TWC where the first rescue operation occured-where else,Louisiana. They convinced a pregnant lady and her 4 yo son to evacuate-they had to send out a rescue swimmer, and the film footage showed the lady in the helicopter rescue cage thingy(what ARE those called?) The rest of the family chose to remain behind with the house. From what I could see,it appeared to be a coastal area or barrier island. In my niece's notorious phrase-WHO DOES that???!!! Especially pregnant, with young children?
I'm all hammered up and ready to hunt!
They may not find Shep until the recovery operation.
It's at least a Shepagory 2.
Seriously though, one of these guys is going to get his death broadcast.
LOL I sure hope my priest watches Fox News and is in a good mood tomorrow, cause this thread is gonna cost me big time.
