Hurricane Rita Live Thread, Part VI
NHC - NOAA ^ | 23 September 2005 | NHC - NOAA

Posted on 09/23/2005 9:39:06 AM PDT by NautiNurse

Dangerous Hurricane Rita is expected to make landfall in the northeast Gulf of Mexico within 24 hours. Tornados have spawned in Louisiana. Water is filling the Ninth Ward of New Orleans again. A bus carrying elderly evacuees was gutted by fire this morning outside Dallas, with multiple fatalities. Television crews have positioned their hurricane reporters throughout the region to attain maximum drama effects. Whoooooa.

Can you get O'Reilly right now?

He is about to give us the entire bus explosion report.

Right after the commercial break.

So what was Weasley's response (sticking with TWC until the alphabet soup goes no-commercials)?

Are any of yall having problems with FR getting really slow?

At times it has been hesitant on posting but there are only about a millions reasons for that type of behavior.

He started to talk about policy and seeing an opportunity.BOR cut him off and said he would book him next week to talk about the issue but still wanted to know if Clark knew some of the stuff CS has been saying.

Weasley said he honors ALL parents who allow their sons (and daughters?) to serve in the military.

Weasley's wording "allow" struck me odd, since those who choose to serve are 18 years of age or older.

Howdy!

I walked the dog just before dusk. It was spooky to have the Big City so quiet. All is well here so far. Still a few hours before we get our worst.

Having served with a variety of Texans over the years, I can honestly say that while I am dreading the individual tragedies that Rita will bring, I am almost looking forward to spirit and gumption that the rest of the country is going to witness when this settles out.

Just remember if you fall out of the bass boat, lose that darn belt buckle and you'll have a better chance of making it back to the beer!

The KLIF website only mentions the burned bus incident. The mention of a Plano nursing home might have been because the bus contained Sunrise residents and was on the way to two facilities here in the Dallas area. One was the Forum where my mother was and the other is in Plano. The maintenance guy I talked to today was upset because they had spent all night getting beds ready and making adjustments to take these patients (many were hospice/end-of-life). He was heartbroken.

Considering CS was hanging out and partying with a homosexual porno star who was thrown out of the USMC for his behavior and now CS is seen with Clark who also was featured on gay periodicals, it sure is consistent to assert they may have been introduced via social functions of those lacking in moral character. (it's almost more obscene not to speak of such persons in colloquial slang which would result in banning.)
